Delaware State Police charge suspect with murder of Laurel man

A Seaford man who shot a Laurel man to death then dumped his body in the woods will go to prison for 22 years, the Delaware Department of Justice announced Friday. 

According to the DOJ, 49-year-old Michael Moore pled guilty to shooting and killing 28-year-old Donnell Davis following an argument at Moore's home. 

Moore was arrested in 2018 after evidence linked him to human remains discovered in Federalsburg, Maryland. 

He pled guilty to second-degree murder and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
