Crews trying to fill a sinkhole on Southbound I-95 south of 202 after Isaias crossed Delaware

A sinkhole formed on I-95 south of Route 202 following heavy rain from former Hurricane Isaias as it passed through northern Delaware on Tuesday.

DelDOT crews quickly looked to put an emergency fill in the hole, that developed just before the Brandywine River Bridge. Traffic just got by in the left lane, but now all lanes are open on the interstate.

Flooding, downed trees, and dark traffic signals continue to be major problems throughout Delaware due to the storm.
