Wilmington Police made quick arrests in connection with the shooting of a teen in broad daylight in Southbridge Thursday.
Police took two 15-year-old boys into custody for the shooting of another 15-year-old boy at 12:57 p.m. on Queen Street.
Police said the shooting was accidental.
The first teen faces charges of assault as well as possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and tampering with evidence. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $111,500 cash-only bail.
The second 15-year-old boy was charged with tampering with evidence and providing false statements to law enforcement to hinder an investigation. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $3,000 cash-only bail.
