A 28-year-old Florida fugitive's life on the lam is over, thanks to state police in Delaware.

They learned this week that 28-year-old Rashad Sharp, who was wanted on a slew of charges in Brevard County, Florida, was staying at a house in the 22000 block of Magnolia Drive North in Lewes, police said.

Troopers said they raided the house as part of an investigation into illegal drug sales, and took Sharp into custody on a warrant for offensive touching from the Dewey Beach Alderman Court. He was also discovered to have a criminal warrant issued by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office for distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, and possession of cocaine, police said. Additionally, authorities said they discovered a bench warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, fleeing from police, aggravated assault with a firearm, resisting arrest, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Sharp was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $9,500 cash bond.
