China Outbreak coronavirus

Two University of Delaware students are being screened and monitored by state and federal public health officials as possible cases of coronavirus.

School officials announced the students' hospitalization and isolation Tuesday, February 11, 2020, and said the Delaware Division of Public Health has been notified of the issue. Risk to other individuals "remains low," according to the school.

The students did not live on-campus and are isolated at an area hospital. The DPH is coordinating its testing with the CDC, and test results are expected in a few days.

There are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Delaware.
