Delaware state troopers identified the driver who was killed in a crash with a truck earlier this week on Concord Pike.
Police, on Friday, said Ryan Ferrer, 35, of Wilmington was killed in the crash on November 26, 2019 at Route 202 and Powder Mill Road.
Police said Ferrer's vehicle ended up wedged underneath the tractor-trailer, after his Lexus left the roadway, struck a light pole, then rear-ended another vehicle.
Ferrer was pronounced dead the next day by troopers.
No one else was hurt in the crash, which shuttered the busy intersection for five hours.
The crash remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit, and anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Breen by calling 302.365,8486.
