A 45-year-old man was arrested minutes after committing a bank robbery, Wilmington Police announced Friday. 

According to authorities, Terase Cason robbed a bank in the 1000 block of North Union Street around 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019, but was stopped in a vehicle with three passengers minutes later. 

Cason was determined to have been responsible for the robbery, and authorities said they were able to recover and return the stolen proceeds to the bank. 

Cason was charged with second-degree robbery and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $4,000 secured bond.
