A Wilmington man is behind bars, charged with shooting another man Saturday morning.
Luis Torres, 38, shot his victim along the 1100 block of West 5th Street around 11:30 a.m., on January 16, 2021, city police said.
The 46-year-old victim was in stable condition, when he was taken to the hospital.
Police arrested Torres on charges of first-degree assault and felony firearms possession.
He's being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
