An early-morning fire displaced a family of eight in Wilmington Saturday.

Fire Department crews arrived on-scene at 411 East 8th Street around 3:20 a.m. on January 26, 2019, to find the first floor of the two-story end-of-row house engulfed in flames.

The fire was under control in about half an hour, but five adults and three children who lived in the house are now being sheltered by the Red Cross.

The city fire marshal's office is looking into what touched off the blaze.
