A woman robbed a pharmacy outside Christiana at knifepoint Monday morning, Delaware State Police announced Tuesday.  

According to authorities, a woman entered the Walgreens at 287 Christiana Road around 10 a.m. on November 4, 2019, and requested assistance locating merchandise. 

Police said, when the victim exited the pharmacy area, the suspect came around and put a knife to the employee's back, demanding an undisclosed drug, which they received before fleeing. 

The employee was not injured, police said. 

Authorities described the suspect as a black female, roughly 50 years of age, wearing dark clothing.
