A 67-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and robbed while walking through the parking lot of a Dover shopping center, city authorities announced Monday. 

According to Dover Police, the victim was walking through the rear of Capitol Cleaners at 217 South New Street heading towards Family Dollar when a man pushed her down and demanded money. 

The suspect went through the victim's pockets and took cash while the victim fought with the suspect, but he was able to flee with her personal property, police said. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries to her face, hands, and teeth. 

The suspect was described as a black male, roughly 18 to 20 years old, standing 5'6" and weighing around 160 lbs., and was wearing a black "do-rag," camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
