John Healy scores for Salesianum vs Father Judge

n Friday night, Salesianum defeated Father Judge High School 21-14 to climb to 3-0 on the year.

Salesianum would win the toss and receive the opening kick.

On their opening possession, Salesianum would get on the board first with a 1 yard passing touchdown to John Healy giving the Sallies a 7-0 lead with 7:31 left in the 1st.

Early in the second quarter, Father Judge would tie the game at 7 as Shane Dooley would hit Katob Joseph for a 31 yard score with 8:54 left in the half.

With under a minute to go in the half, Salesianum would push the lead to 7 as Andrew Watkins would run in from 13 yards out.

The score would be 14-7 at the half.

Early in the third quarter Salesianum would get a turnover, an interception by Jehoshua Johnson, giving them the ball on their own 30. However, it would not result in any points.

Salesianum would go up 21-7 with 11:54 in the 4th quarter when Dylan Mooney would hit John Healy for a 29 yard passing score.

In the middle of the quarter, both teams would recover fumbles. The Father Judge fumble recovery would give them the ball at their own 3 with 7:53 left in the game.

Later in that possession, Father Judge's quarterback Shane Dooley would hit Dan Foy for 60 yards pushing Father Judge to Salesianum's 2.

On the next play, Shane Dooley would walk in from the 2, closing the gap to 21-14.

Father Judge would attempt an onside kick, but it was recovered by Salesianum at their own 47.

Salesianum would then fumble the next play giving the ball back to Father Judge with 2:17 left.

Father Judge would move the ball to the Salesianum 21 before throwing an interception in the end zone on 4th & 10 with 11 seconds left.
